The Solis Consulting Group provides each client with a lead partner, dedicated account manager and data analyst. The client team will handle all energy related matters. This provides clients with a fully outsourced energy solution, saving you time and money

The key areas we provide expert advice are;

1) Invoice Validations

Solis will ensure each site has up to date and correct bills received on a monthly basis. Each bill will be analysed and any errors will be automatically referred and resolved in house. Each month a journal is provided to the client. The following checks are performed in house:

• Bill is mathematically correct;

• Correct supplier is listed;

• Correct unit rates charged;

• Correct meters billed;

• Meter reads follow on from previous bill

2) New installations, connections, smart meters and sub meters

For clients that require new meters installed or connected we contact the local electricity board and help to manage any infrastructure work required (including quote management and efficient construction work). For multi-tenant clients we provide our specialist electrical partners to install meters that enable the energy usage to be accurately measured through smart meters. We are currently providing free smart meters to all Maximum Demand customers

3) Interface and issue handling with all energy suppliers (saving you time)

Solis will handle all communication and issues with the contracted energy companies.
This involves chasing bills, updating meter reads and resolving any issues that you may experience. Our highly valued relationships enable us to resolve issues quickly and efficiently to ensure you experience no energy related problems

4) Deposit reductions and methods to secure contracts for unrated companies

Solis have expert relationships in place and a large buying base which enables market competitive contracts to be secured without deposits or parent guarantees. This enables cash flow to be retained while also benefiting from traded energy contracts

5) Historical bill reduction and rebates

Solis will look at all historical billing for our clients, highlighting errors and incorrect billing data.
All refunds are pursued by our in house lawyers and we can reclaim up to 7 years

6) Change of tenancy and backdated billing

Solis manage large clients that often have a rotating portfolio, with sites sold and new sites purchased. Solis’s expert team of professionals will handle all change of tenancies and will ensure back dated rates are applied so that no out of contract bills are issued

7) Gas issues and emergencies

Solis have in house corgi registered engineers which can be administered to the sites at no cost. We have resolved stolen meters and disconnections within 24 hours enabling peace of mind at no cost

8) Recharging policy to tenants

Solis have in house accountants that can help assist on recharging communal areas or individual office spaces using a variety of software programmes to suit your needs. We currently manage the recharging policy for over 1,500 landlord owned buildings in the UK

9) KVA analysis and Reactive Power Corrections

Our team will analyse the supply capacity of each site to ensure the KVA level is not set too high. Our specialist electrical partners will determine the correct level and will speak to the LEB
to adjust the level

10) Energy management training and guidelines for the company’s staff

Solis work with large retail chains and groups to produce company wide manuals that can be administered to staff. Solis also have training schemes and classes with energy advisor certificates available once your employees pass our energy industry knowledge tests. The energy booklets act as cheap and cost effective way to make your staff more aware of simple things they can do to impact your energy budget
